Posted on January 7, 2015, Stew Shearer Uncharted 4 Will Have Multiplayer, New Story Details Emerge
Uncharted 4 will feature Nathan Drake’s brother as an AI companion during its single player campaign.
According to reports, the game will be set three years after the end of Uncharted 3 and begin with the arrival of Drake’s brother Sam. The story will then follow the two brothers as they embark on a treasure hunt filled to the brim with sibling tension and exotic locations including urban environments, snow-covered vistas and a fictional Madagascar pirate colony named Libertalia. During this trip Drake will have to deal with Sam’s frequently reckless behavior as well as a pair of rival treasure hunters named Rafe and Nadine.
The game will also feature less linear play environments and, as previously mentioned, Sam as an AI partner working much like in previous Uncharted games and Ellie in The Last of Us. It’s also been indicated that the series’ multiplayer will also return in the new game.
Uncharted 4 is expect to release sometime in 2015.
