Based on the added features, you can see why Unity is excited about the future. Most notably, Unity 5.0 will bring WebGL integration, allowing Unity-made games to play plug-in free in browsers.
High-end shaders, cross-platform global illumination, 64-bit Unity editor, an all-new audio mixing system and more are also on tap. No release date just yet, but you can get an sneak peek at all the new bells and whistles in the preview trailer above.
