Posted on May 17, 2012, Ross Lincoln First Screens From Unreal Engine 4 Demo Emerge
Wired Magazine has published a huge article about the development of the Unreal Engine 4, including a lengthy discussion with Epic Games‘ Tim Sweeney. The article covers the development of previous iterations of the engine, and touches at length Epic’s place in gaming thanks to having licensed it to so many other developers, but the real sugar is the first screenshots from the Unreal Engine 4 demo reel showing off what the engine is capable of. As you can see, it’s fairly spectacular. And incidentally, the demo in question ran on a single Geforce GTX 680.
