In the classic Bethesda tradition of getting awesome voice talent attached to a very small portion of their games (see also: Sean Bean, Patrick Stewart, Ron Perlman in just the last few years), this trailer for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim features everybody’s favorite exorcist, Max Von Sydow.
Hopefully he has a larger role than Patrick Stewart as we take to Skyrim. In fact, I hope he pulls a Sean Connery and voices that dragon, the one that seems to breathe eels or…space heart air, or whatever.
But if Dennis Quaid* shows up, I might have to bail on this whole Elder Scroll thing.
No, just kidding. This whole game could be voiced by Pee-Wee Herman and I’d still buy it on day one.
*We’re talking about the awful movie Dragon Heart, if anyone isn’t getting this joke. Sean Connery did the voice of a CG dragon and became friends with Dennis Quaid. It was dumb.
