Posted on January 10, 2013, CJ Miozzi War Z Mods Don’t Read Ban Appeals, Despite Claims to the Contrary
Last week, a War Z community manager announced via the game’s official forums that, moving forward, all bans will be permanent. An appeal system exists, but we have recently discovered that the moderators don’t even read the appeals — they simply send an automated message stating that your appeal has been denied.
As reported by a user on the War Z forums (as long as the thread still exists and isn’t “disappeared” by moderators), regardless of who you are or what you write in your ban appeal, you receive the same canned response:
‘We have evidence that you have used multiple hacks. Your ban appeal has been denied.’
The icing on the cake? You can allegedly created a completely new email account that doesn’t even have a War Z account attached to it, and you’ll still receive this message. That’s right — evidence has been found that your non-existent account has used multiple hacks.
Just when you think a game cannot possibly inspire any more hatred and rage…
