Posted on July 22, 2008, Shawn Sines Warhammer Online: Get the Scoop on Guild Advancement
The Warhammer Herald has a guide up for those players interested in guild advancement for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Considering WAR is massively RvR, I’m assuming that’s most anyone who plans to subscribe.
In WAR guilds will receive experience (GXP) based on their members actions, owning and maintaining a RvR guild keep and Battlefield objective ownership. GXP is used to earn rank and rewards that are both showy like custom guild heraldry and useful in-game such as Guild tactics points (used to purchase guild tactics).
As you can imagine, competition to be in active guilds should be fierce. Pressure to get active and stay active could get heavy. And I thought having to fill out an application to join a WoW guild was bad.
If you’re ready to learn about the system, you can find Guild Highlights: Living Guild Advancement as well as the featured beta guild, Tome Raiders on Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.
