Yesterday we talked about the last time someone with LAPD experience had something to do with a police game- 1993′s Police Quest: Open Season (co-deveoped by Darryl Gates). Consider that our bad cop moment. (well, one of our bad cop moments). Today we bring you the good cop. G4 has sat down with former LAPD detective Skip Bauchman, a 30 year veteran of the force with experience working vice, robbery and homicide. And they had him play a few rounds of LA Noire.

It went a little something like this:

Kind of funny seeing solid, experienced police instincts have some trouble with the occasionally inscrutable interrogation system, but all in all it’s actually fascinating watching someone who knows how it really works, and has been in some of the buildings featured in LA Noire, show us around.
