Posted on April 11, 2011, Ross Lincoln Watch Cargasm San Francisco Day Level Preview Trailer (Video)
I’m not the biggest racing games fan on earth, but I love electronic dance music and I love San Francisco. And the new trailer for Cargasm has both in abundance. Candella Software and Saga Wonderworks’ upcoming racer features scarily accurate recreations of major world cities. The trailer below gives a good idea of how accurate with the excellent recreation of San Francisco. Prepare to be impressed:
There’s lots to like in this video. Given San Francisco’s dance music culture, the house soundtrack is exceptionally appropriate. It’s also a very nice approximation of San Francisco’s iconic landmarks and neighborhoods, from Fisherman’s Warf, to Chinatown, to the Golden Gate bridge. Not much focus on the racing part of the game, but who cares? I’ll be getting my rear fender kicked anyway, since I’ll be spending my time ooohing and ahhing at the scenery.
Cargasm is still TBD 2011. Presumably we’ll have a release date soon (I bet right in time for E3).
