Watch Dogs is quite a ways from release, but it’s become one of our most highly anticipated games this year. Today, Ubisoft has announced the Limited Edition pack for the open-world action-adventure game Watch Dogs—no doubt to play upon our demand for the game.
Priced at a relatively steep $129.99, the Limited Edition pack will be available on all platforms, including the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It’s set to include a 9″ statue of the game’s protagonist Aiden Pearce prominently armed with his deadliest weapon—the smartphone, a vigilante mask, a steelbook collectible game case, a deluxe hardcover art book, the official soundtrack by Brian Reitzell, and of course, the game.
In Watch Dogs, players will be immersed in what’s described as a “living, breathing and fully connected recreation of Chicago,” where the game is set. Assuming the role of Aiden Pearce, players will—armed with a smartphone—hack into Chicago’s central operating system (ctOS) to control almost every element of the high-tech city and tap into the city’s omnipresent security cameras, download personal information on targets, and control traffic systems. It’s like all of PRISM under the control of a single man.
The game is set for a November 19 release on the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and the aforementioned next-gen platforms.
