Ubisoft has released a new video of Splinter Cell Blacklist focusing on the game’s Spies vs. Mercs multiplayer mode.
Running close to nine minutes in length, the new Spies vs. Mercs mode offers 4v4 match-ups in Blacklist, differing from the Classic mode which has fewer people in it. As previously noted, the rules of the game are simple: one side takes the role of computer-hacking Spies, stealth units who play in third-person view. The other side consists of the Mercs, who have the advantage of superior firepower and play the game in first-person.
In the video, Community Developer Zack Cooper and Level Design Director Geoff Ellenor show off the mode from the perspective of a Spy, offering a multitude of tips and tactics along the way.
Splinter Cell Blacklist has a confirmed release date of August 20 in North America, followed by August 22 in Europe and August 23 in the UK.
