Posted on August 22, 2013, Ian Miles Cheong Watch Parkour, Stealth, And All Manner Of Combat In Titanfall
Watching this Titanfall video may cause your inner fanboy to squeal with glee, as it depicts a highly scripted multiplayer match that remains cool to watch. Despite its scripted nature, it gives viewers a good understanding of what it’s like to play Titanfall, and more importantly, what the game feels like—which is fast, fluid, and for the lack of a better term, visceral.
There’s combat on foot, a little bit of stealth, no small amount of parkour, and of course giant mechs—some of which are destroyed butn ot before doing ton of damage to forces on the ground and in the air.
The speed of the game is evident in the trailer, harkening back to the age of Quake and Unreal Tournament, but with more polished visuals and the kind of kick-ass quality you can only expect from a next-gen title.
The trailer, which was released by EA Games and Respawn Entertainment at Gamescom, sets the stage for the game better than its previous presentation at E3 earlier this year.
