Posted on August 21, 2012, Phil Hornshaw We Might Get a PC Port of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
As of right now, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is heading only to the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, but the possibility of a PC port is in the cards after the initial versions ship.
Kojima Productions’ Creative Producer Yuji Korekado told Eurogamer that the company would consider a PC port of the game along with developer Platinum Games, but only after they’ve finished the console versions.
“Right now, honestly, we are doing our best to complete at the same time the PlayStation 3 version and the Xbox 360 version,” Korekado said. “For the PC version, we will contemplate making it or not once we reach this goal of completing the PS3 and 360 versions.”
So we’re not going to know anything about the possibility of Revengeance until after Feb. 19, 2013, when the console versions hit shelves. But it’s presumable that if Revengeance does well and there’s enough demand for a PC port, we might end up with one. Maybe you should start prepping your Internet petitions now.
