The experts over at Zonbiephiles.com have put together a list of 10 things you should NOT do during an actual zombie outbreak. I’m personally a fan of zombie movies and games and happen to agree with most of what they have to say on their list. Of course, if you really want to see a realistic Zombie movie, I would urge you to rent Shaun Of The Dead. Of course Shaun doesn’t fight Zombies with traditional methods and he ignores pretty much all these rules, but it worked. Here’s Zombiephiles’ list:

  • 10) Don’t set zombies on fire. Burning zombies smell terrible.

  • 9) Don’t get sentimental. Zombies won’t.

  • 8) Don’t forget to shut the door behind you. Zombies often arrive without calling first.

  • 7) Don’t keep zombies in the basement. Even if they are your zombie family.

  • 6) Don’t try to reunite with friends / family over long distances.

  • 5) Don’t go down. Zombies can go down too.

  • 4) Don’t broadcast your presence. Zombies may be listening.

  • 3) Don’t stand in front of the window. That’s just foolish.

  • 2) Don’t get too creative with zombie defense.

  • 1) Don’t be “that one ****ole,” in your group.
