In the gaming world hype and who you know is almost as important as development. Hype and relations is the work of Public Relations folks. We at FileFront are fortunate enough to have a great PR person. Thanks to our resident spin-doctor I have yet to be sued, and most publishers still think I’m complimenting them. GamesRadar took the time recently to put together a piece on what happens when PR goes bad. Warning, some of this you don’t want to remember.
