metalslug1.jpgToday’s Wii-kly update brings two new additions to both the Virtual Console and WiiWare. On the WiiWare side of things, there’s Dr. Mario Online Rx, which is pretty much the classic Dr. Mario gameplay with the addition of online battle modes. There’s also Family Table Tennis, which is basically a virtual game of table tennis with single-player and versus modes, as well as a handful of mini-games. For the Virtual Console, today there’s City Connection, the NES game where you try to drive over all the platforms in a level to mark them; all while trying to avoid obstacles and the roaming police. Then there’s Metal Slug, the classic side-scrolling shooter from the Neo Geo (which has now appeared on practically every platform by now). Family Table Tennis and City Connection will cost 500 Wii points, while Dr. Mario Online Rx and Metal Slug will cost 1000 points and 900 points, respectively.
