A bounty of details have come out of Nintendo’s Wii U conference regarding new models, pricing information, and platform titles. Here’s the rundown:
- Basic and Deluxe models of the Wii U are being introduced. Both version come with an HDMI cable, and the Deluxe comes with Nintendo Land.
- The Wii U Basic will sell for $299.99, while the Deluxe will cost $349.99.
- The new models will launch in the US on Sunday, November 18th, which means this leak was correct.
- Black Ops 2 has been confirmed for the Wii U and will use the console’s unique features, such as the second screen serving as a mini-map.
- Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U exclusive.
- Nintendo TVii is a new service that will allow users to watch movies, sports and television via the Wii U.
- Rayman Legends will launch on the Wii U in Europe on November 30.
