CD Projekt Red isn’t just recruiting for The Witcher 3, it’s also looking to develop another RPG in a brand-new setting — one that may involve guns.
According to job listings on the studio’s website, CD Projekt Red is “recruiting [for] two projects:” one being an “RPG in a dark fantasy world,” expected to be The Witcher 3, and the other an “RPG in a brand new setting,” with a gun icon displayed beside it.
CD Projekt Red states that “both are story-driven RPG games for mature players.”
A post on the studio’s website reads:
“In order to continue in this spirit our journey within the constantly booming game industry, CD Projekt RED wants to reinforce its existing team with some highly talented and passionate people, who will help us in crafting new amazing projects.
“Our mature dark-fantasy world is well known around the world, though if you can’t stomach dwarves, elves or sorceresses who put their ample charms on display in Playboy magazine, we’ve got also something special that might be right up your alley!
“We’re looking for people who would rather work on an entirely new and different IP – a vast RPG for which we want to assemble the best possible staff. It represents an opportunity for you to create a grand new project from the ground up!”
As long as CD Projekt Red continues with its laudable treatment of fans, customers, and PC gamers, I’m sure this new title will be well-received, even if it turns out to be based on My Little Pony — though I do hope it won’t be.
