There's no end to the popularity of The Witcher 3, and a new mod which has just been released entitled "E3 UI and HUD" takes us way back to 2014, when the game was demonstrated at E3 of that year, and the results look great.

The mod, created by KamehamehaNudel  and a team of others, aims to restore the interface from the demo that was showcased, about a year before the game was actually released in May 2015.

The mod goes as far as remove the level indicator on monsters, as the E3 demo has no level indicators, with the aim to be as faithful to the state the game was in at the E3 demo as possible. Don't worry though, the higher level enemies still show up with a red name, or brown for beatable enemies. Also included is a menu that lets you toggle on and off various features, which include animated backgrounds, E3 maps and minimaps, loading screens and more.

The video above shows the E3 UI and how close the recreation actually is. If you're interested in downloading it for yourself, you can check it out here.
