Which next gen console is for you? Game Front can help you make your decision with our Xbox One vs. PlayStation 4 Ultimate Buyer’s Guide.
Yesterday we learned from our friends across the pond that the PlayStation 4 trounced the Xbox One during its first 48 hours on sale in the UK. Sony kept tooting its own horn this morning, announcing that the PS4 is now its fastest selling console ever, with more than 2.1 million boxes sold since its November 15 launch.
Sony President Andrew House delivered the news with a post on the official PlayStation Blog, calling it an “impressive, record-setting accomplishment.”
“I want to personally thank PlayStation fans, both old and new, for your vote of confidence,” House stated. “The best part: the PS4 journey has just begun. In addition to an incredible lineup of PS4 games from the best developers in the world, we will continue to introduce valuable new features and services to PS4 in the months and years ahead. ”
We were impressed by the PlayStation 4′s hardware and software, but found the launch titles lacking and the machine itself in need of a killer app. Check out our complete PlayStation 4 review to learn why we think this is an upgrade you can wait on. And stay tuned, we’ll have our Xbox One review ready for you later in the week.
