Egosoft today announced a new space simulation game set in the X Universe: X Rebirth.
With a detailed universe to explore, action-packed space combat, and high-speed space exploration, X Rebirth promises to appeal to new and seasoned players alike.

For a moment, I thought that opening line said, “This game is based on a true events,” and when the voice-over stated, “The supernova changed everything. Forever,” I couldn’t help by laugh.
But this is a well-put together trailer with a fantastic musical score, and although it tells us next to nothing about the game, it’s a good teaser.
X Rebirth for PC is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of 2011.
