Even with two games releasing on Xbox Live Arcade this week, you could walk away with everything and spend less than last week. Whether this week’s new games are going to garner your interest, though, is going to greatly depend on your interest in nostalgia and numbers.

Warlords (400 Microsoft points, $5) is a classic arcade game that’s added support for up to four players over Xbox Live and Vision cam support. I don’t think I could be any less excited unless this were a sequel to Yaris.

The other new game this week, Buku Sudoku (800 points, $10), is far more interesting, even if the reaction to it is extremely polarizing. Because, well, it’s sudoku. It’s not for everyone. For those who are interested, though, you’ll find fifteen books of Sudoku puzzles and three multiplayer modes, including duel, co-op, and team battle. You’ll also find a free puzzle pack for the game available on the Xbox Live Marketplace which will add 1,200 new Sudoku puzzles. That makes me wonder what kind of further DLC they could really offer, as that sounds like more puzzles than anyone is ever likely to finish, so the only alternative would be some sort of new mode or cosmetic changes.

As much as I like sudoku, though, I can’t imagine buying this. When I first heard about it I was excited, but then I realized: Do I really want to stare at numbers on my TV screen?
