The bad P.R. hits just keep coming for embattled Microsoft. Not only will the new console cost more, potentially share your personal data, and make it difficult to trade used games (a fact that Sony has made hay of with this parody video), the console just plain won’t work, if you happen to live in the wrong country.
According to Joystiq, the Xbox One’s always-on game registration feature will only be available in 21 countries at launch. If you happen to live in a country like, say, Portugal, you’re completely out of luck, and you won’t be able to play any games on the console.
Consult the list below or the map above to see if the country you live in happens to be on the list. Of course, this news has already been met with a pro-PS4 troll graphic, which is also below.
