Xbox One owners will be able to upload footage straight to YouTube starting on April 8th.

The new feature, unveiled in a recent posting on Xbox Wire, will integrated via an update that will couple the Game DVR and Upload features with the console’s YouTube app. The updated app will also now give users the ability to watch YouTube videos in Snap Mode, add individual videos to their pins, earn media-related achievements and add favorite chancels to OneGuide for speedy access.

The announcement also revealed that the GoPro app, originally announced at the end of January, will also be launching on Xbox 360 tomorrow. The app will provide users access to a variety of video content while also giving Xbox Live Gold members the ability to buy GoPro cameras and accessories conveniently from the app. The app is also set to land on Xbox One sometime this coming summer.
