There’s DLC coming for XCOM: Enemy Unknownone pack we know about, and one pack we don’t.

The pack we’ve heard of is called the Slingshot content pack, and will include linked Council missions. The second hasn’t been detailed just yet, and we don’t know the price or release date of either.

We do know that Slingshot will take place in China, with players making contact with a Triad operative and attempting to divert the course of an alien ship. It includes three new maps tied to those missions, plus a new playable character for your squad. It also has its own story and comes with new character customization capabilities.

In addition to these DLC packs, the Elite Soldier pack is now available for download as well. That’s the additional content you were able to nab for free if you pre-ordered XCOM; if you haven’t, you can pick it up for $4.99 or 400 MS Points.

That pack includes some additional soldier customization, including colors, the classic XCOM soldier, and Soldier Deco packs.
