The end of February brought with it a bounty of information on XCOM: Enemy Unknown, revealing several features and elements from the original game had found their way back to the series. In an interview with Destructoid at PAX East, the game’s Lead Artist, Greg Foertsch, and Lead Producer, Garth DeAngelis, discussed their artistic influences and inspirations for the game, including a desire to recapture the essence of the original game.
The developers revealed that a great deal of focus-testing went into the 360 controller scheme, which manages to feel natural without sacrificing the depth of PC version of the game.
