Thanks to Redditor Kharnzarro, we’ve learned the name of the first unlockable hero unit in XCOM: Enemy Within. If you’re a truly hardcore fan of XCOM, you might just recognize the name William Carter. Don’t know him? We aren’t surprised — he’s the fedora-clad protagonist of The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. Get him, and even more heroes on your team, with the cheat codes below.

Enemy Within – New Hero Units

Note: Input these names when customizing the squad to create hero units. Disables achievements / trophies.

Popular comics author that’s worked on Superman, Spider-Man, and many other famous characters. Otto Zander
Hero and survivor of GuavaMoment’s XCOM Let’s Play series from the Something Awful Forumes. Chris Kluwe
Vikings punter and World of Warcraft fan, he won hero unit privileges after defeating Firaxis’ Garth DeAngelis in an online match.
