Swing by the Xbox 360 booth (#5225) on Saturday, July 26, from 2–2:45 P.M. and meet Epic Games Design Director Cliff Bleszinski and Gears 2 writer Joshua Ortega. Cliff and Joshua will be on-hand greeting fans and signing Gears 2 posters, so come early.

For fans who want a sneak peek into where the Gears of War universe is headed, don’t miss the Xbox 360 Gears of War Showcase Panel on Saturday, July 26 from 3:30 to 4:30 P.M. in Room 6B. Cliff Bleszinski and Joshua Ortega will be joined by New York Times bestselling author Karen Traviss, writer of the upcoming novel Gears of War: Battle of Aspho Fields. The three will discuss what the future holds for Marcus and company and what effects the new comic book and novel series will have on the Gears universe.

Fans interested in learning more about the upcoming Gears of War comic book should stop by the DC/Wildstorm booth (#1915) and meet series writer Joshua Ortega. Joshua will be talking all about Delta Squad’s new four-panel adventures and signing autographs at the following times:

* 6–7 P.M. Friday, July 25 * 5–6 P.M. Saturday, July 26 * 6–7 P.M. Saturday, July 26 (Wildstorm Panel, Room 8) * 10–11 P.M. Sunday, July 27

Want more info on Gears of War action figures? Of course you do! NECA (booth #4345) is bringing an entire plastic armada down to Comic-Con, including a limited edition 7-inch Anthony Carmine figure, available only to attendees for $20. NECA will also be showing off the new prototypes for figures of General RAAM and the Flame Grenadier (a new Locust making its debut in Gears 2), as well as a full-size electronic Lancer Assault Rifle replica.
