free roam must be THE biggest feature of GTA. i could be wrong (and please correct me if i am, i always love to learn) but GTA 1 was the 1st free roaming game on the market, and without that, free roaming wouldnt be known as we know it now. free roaming is really fun and more realistic. GTA SA was a bit TOO realistic though :(

yup #1 freeroam makes serial GTA one of the best games in the world- you don't have just missions and sub-missions to do, but you can do everything in freeroam

i love doing missions that require driving a long distance so i can hop in a car (with camhack on) and drive thru the country/desert etc while listening to my mp3 collection on the car radio..GTASA is one of my fav games

After compliting the missions, freeroam is the best. Kill people and search stuff:p

I just love everything about it - GTA I was the first thing I ever played (back on PS1) I think I was about 8 at the time, so I probably wasn't so good at the missions, but I spent hours just driving about... Ahh, good times
