This modifcation will update the Casino Slot Machines within GTA: San Andreas to those of better textures. This modification replaces the lower resolution of the "stock" version within the game to that of a higher resolution slot machine textures. Although not all of the slot machines have been changed.
===================================================================== CASINO UPGRADE MOD ===================================================================== Author: Diablo SV For (GTA): San Andreas Email: firstname.lastname@example.org Version: 1.0 Beta Work In Progress Built Duration: 47 minutes Music Listened During Build: None Utilities used: TXD Workshop 3.5, Microsoft Paint, Paint Shop Pro 4. Date Finished: Tuesday 5th July 2005. Description: Are you really sick of your slot machines looking '8bit colours' with low resolution? Want casinos to stand out? Then you need this modification! --- This modification replaces slot machine and video poker machines to look really better, and most brand new textures are at a high resolution of 512 X 512. The ordinary slot machine skins were 128 X 128, and were not really smooth in pixels and were messy. Features: * Real looking slot machines * 512 X 512 resolution skins * Video Poker machine screens are exact as you see while playing them, and have an 'INSERT COIN(S)' banner. The headings are replaced as well, since 'Lucky Dragon Poker' does not suit it in other casinos. This is still a work in progress V.1 - there are other slot machine textures I have not fully edited, when I do, this topic will be edited. Updates: None yet. Installation: You need IMG Tool V2.0 to import the .TXD files, since this is the only supporting San Andreas .TXD importer in the Grand Theft Auto community. If you're scared the textures aren't going to show up, then backup the .IMG files you're replacing, see below on the steps on the names; the textures shows up fine on my San Andreas. 1. Navigate to your Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas directory 2. Go to the 'models' folder, and open up 'gta_int.img' 3. Find the .TXD entries, 'slotsx.txd', 'slot_bank.txd', 'kbslotmchines.txd', 'maint1.txd' and REPLACE them all with the .TXDs in this Zip File. (Note: If you're using IMG Tool V2.0, click 'Rebuild Archive' to save changes.) Now, enjoy and gamble with delight!
