README

1986 Holden VL Commodore Berlina
--- my version 1.0 release---

This is my first ever attempt to build a car for Vice City and my first car built ever. It's my first time using a 3d modeling program to start something. Thank god for Zmodeler which I have used to learnt to create 3d objects.
It's a model of my car, the Legendary Holden Commodore VL Berlina series of 1986-1988. Although it can pass for any other VL Series with an exception for a Calais or Turbo.

About the Car:
This car took me yonks to build (4-6 weeks to current state), as I was learning to use Zmodeler whilst building it at the same time. There are no 3d rims as yet, (still something I am starting to learn) and polygon count, I have no idea. but the file is pretty small so I figure it wouldn't be much anyway. Some of the texture files I have used are off the internet of someone else's car and some are mine. If it's yours, feel free to feel cool about it because I have used it to help create my creation or if you're really fuss about it, pop me an email and I will try to replace it with some other texture.
Damage... Yes! it has damage. Yeah!

And again... It's based on my CAr!!! So don't tell me it doesn't look like a Calais or a Brock Walkinshaw or whatever. Maybe that will be something I will work on in the future.
Hrmmm what else.... some parts may be a little messed up, like the reflection lighting on the sides sometimes or breakup here and there. But this is still 1.0.

Well Here is the installation manual:

1. Texture And Car
Use IMG Tool to replace the 2 files:
oceanic.dff
oceanic.txd

I prefer to use the Oceanic because the engine sounds most like my car although the suspension and performance may be a little off but Hey, feel free to replace whatever 4-door car you fancy aslong as you rename the 2 files.

2. Car Handling
I kept it at default. Up to you.

Wheel size change to 0.75 at the end in the default.ide under what ever car you replaced.

3. Color
Replace the oceanic colors with the following in the carcols.dat:

oceanic, 1,85, 0,85, 14,85, 16,85, 50,85, 6,0, 22,85, 46,85

Dark navy blue is my best colour because that's my car's colour :)

Note: I have decided to release the beta a little early as I reckon it should be finished off and be enjoyed by others, and I personally don't have as much time as I used to, to work on it/finish it off myself these days. Feel free to edit this car to your likings or what ever as long as you know what you are doing. You can edit, post it, finish it off or whatever as I feel the car deserve to get finished off. But still, some credit still gotta go to me as I attempted to create it as I thought nobody would. Hopefully someone will create 3d rims or remodel it to look better, or make a Brock version. Feel free to drop me an email or send me your comments or update me with any mad modifications you have done to it.
Thats enough yapping from me for now...

Cheers

And Happy Driving!
