Half-Life 2: Capture the Flag is a quick-paced multiplayer modification for HL2, akin to HL2 DM but providing more weapons, more game modes, and in my opinion, much more fun. Playing as either the Rebel or Combine team, gamers battle for flags in three different modes of play: traditional capture the flag, one-flag capture the flag, and domination, otherwise known as "hold the flag." Planet Half-Life was fortunate enough to be able to play-test HL2:CTF's most recent release, version 1.6 with the development team and beta-testing team. I'll admit I haven't played HL2:CTF for a while, but as soon as I started the game up I remembered how fun this mod really is. Through a masterful combination of balanced weapon variety, well-designed mapping, and the never-failing-to-please gameplay of capture-the-flag, the mod provides an incredibly fun, action-packed experience for players of all levels of skill.
