I am Entih, and this is my FIRST EVER PREFAB!!! (applauds) But really, if you are reading this, you are either psycic, or you downloaded this prefab. Considering this probably isn't the latter, thank you. I am putting in this readme a few instructions as to the use of my cannon. In order to install, just extract all the files via winzip to the sdk/bin/prefabs directory, this will include my cannon and control prefabs, a screenshot, and this readme. Also included is a map called test_cannon, which is a long range for testing a new design and whatnot. Just take the files out of the folder, and put them in the sdk maps file. It can also be used as an extremely innaccurate improvisional cannon, like in the army or something. 1.In order for the cannon to be used, BOTH cannon and control station must be placed, preferably the command station nearby for aiming sake. 2.On the control station, there are 2 switches and a button. The button is used to fire. The switch on the LEFT is used to aim horizontally, and the one to the RIGHT is used to aim vertically. 3.There are several ways to reload the cannon. First you can use the weapon_physcannon to launch the item into it, as long as the item is not breakable. Secondly, you can build a platform at the cannons straight out position to carry the object inside manually. I created this prefab with such an extremely simple design for a few reasons. The first is that I did plan on making it super complex at first, but after 5 failing designs, each with major flaws, I decided to settle on this, which has near no flaws (but if you find any, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will work on making a version 2). Next is for the people. You are given full capability to change and adjust the cannon, such as retexturing and redesigning without building the main components from scratch. BUT, no matter how you change it, if you use this original form as a basis or a model for building a better more complex version, I simply request some recognition in your readme and/or credits.
