This Sound Pack made by Marco[MW] changes the Buggy sounds so they fit in the Half-Life 2 Retail, check out the quote below:

first of all, all these sounds were made by valve Software, i only edited them a bit so they fit in Half-Life 2 Retail. This is just a beta release, i still need to update the sounds, and find a way to make them loop, because now i had to stretch the 4th gear sound to 4 minutes in order to make it sound right.

Half-Life 2 Pre-Release Buggy Engine Sounds V0.1 (beta) by Marco[MW]

first of all, all these sounds were made by valve Software, 
i only edited them a bit so they fit in Half-Life 2 Retail.

This is just a beta release, i still need to update the sounds, 
and find a way to make them loop, because now i had to stretch the 4th 
gear sound to 4 minutes in order to make it sound right.

Install:
extract the contents of this zip file into:
Valve\Steam\SteamApps'your-username'\half-life 2\hl2

thats it :P

Sounds were made by Valve Software, 
i do not have the leak,
i got the sounds from a friend,
DO NOT EMAIL ME FOR LINKS OR SOMETHING 
TO THE LEAK BECAUSE I DO NOT SUPPORT PIRACY!
