He brought her along on countless missions to aide him in his work. By the time she was old enough to officially enter British Military service she already had years of field experience. Kat has a very attractive personality just like her mentor. She’s funny, playful, and flirty, but takes her missions very seriously. She’s always prepared for her missions and does not like surprises. Although proficient in a variety of weapons, Kat has chosen to bring a M4 machine gun with an M-203 under-barrel grenade launcher attachment on this mission. Fiona The 19 year old girl being used as a carrier to incubate a biological weapon for the Soviets. She was captured by the Soviets because of her special biological attributes required to keep the weapon alive and contained within her body. Dr. Anton Ackerman The American scientist being forced to do viral research for the Russians. He thinks of Fiona as his own daughter. General Ephanov A high-ranked military officer in charge of project “F.” He will stop at nothing to complete the viral weapon. 1.4 Story and Game Progression 1.4.1 Story The story of “F” begins in Russia shortly after the Cold War. The Russians recently started production of a deadly virus codenamed Fiona that has the power to wipe out an entire nation. Two spies, one secret agent from the USA and a MI-6 agent from England, have been dispatched to stop the threat. Intelligence recently pinpointed the virus to a Russian royal palace containing a secret biological research facility. “F” begins with the two spies, Damian and Kat, breaking into the facility. After breaking into the facility, Damian and Kat find the scientist who created the Fiona virus, but not before the scientist is infected with the disease and shot in the stomach. With his last dying breath, the scientist tells the spies to find a young girl named Fiona and protect her. Before the scientist can finish talking, he passes away in Damian’s arms along with any valuable information he could have given them. After his death the spies each receive a new objective. Damian’s new objective is to find the virus, contain it, and bring it back for further study. Kat’s new objective is to find and destroy the virus to stop it from further threatening humanity. The two spies search through the mansion and encounter many traps along the way but they finally find the general hidden in the secret laboratory below the mansion. The spies walk in the laboratory to see the general standing behind protective bulletproof glass and Fiona cowering in a corner. As the spies move towards Fiona, the general pulls a lever that activates a vent causing poisonous gas to seep into the room. The spies move towards Fiona, but gun turrets jump up from the ground stopping the players. As the turrets plague the spies and the gas seeps closer to them, the general watches and controls the turrets laughing at their unfortunate situation. With great effort and teamwork, the spies are able to destroy the turrets and stop the gas. The general cowardly flees from the spies. As both players walk towards Fiona, Kat raises her gun to kill the girl. Damian quickly points his gun towards Kat telling her that he cannot allow her to kill the girl. The two spies have no other choice than to fight each other to fulfill their respective objectives. Ending 1: If Damian kills Kat Damian fires the final shot that drops Kat to the ground and walks over to Fiona who is still cowering in a corner. He looks down at her, extends his hand, and then tells her that everything is going to be all right. As Fiona gets up, she drops a small book that she has been holding the entire time and it falls open to the floor. Damian picks up the book and begins to read it. The book reveals that the scientist was a good man and did not want to infect Fiona with the virus. Instead of infecting the girl, he actually stored the cure in her and infected himself. He also misled the Russians by telling them that the girl’s biological makeup was ideal to incubate the virus when her body was actually ideal to incubate the cure. Ending 2: If Kat kills Damian Kat raises her rifle, delivering the killing blow to Damian, and watches her ally fall to the ground. She slowly walks towards Fiona, raises her rifle, and with an ice-cold expression shoots the young girl in the head. As she walks away, a book lays open on the floor that explains the scientists’ true intentions. The book reveals that the scientist was a good person and did not want to infect Fiona with the virus. Instead of infecting the girl, he actually stored the cure in her and infected himself. He also misleads the Russians by telling them that the girls’ biological makeup was ideal to incubate the virus when her body was actually ideal to incubate the cure. Kat doesn’t see this however, and walks away with the deadly virus coursing through her veins. 1.4.2 Game Progression 1. Begin in the Courtyard Area. a. These pistols are also very useful when you want to slow down or stop an enemy from attacking. Accuracy: Standing 100% Walking 95% Running 90% Jumping 90% Dodging 80% Damage: Heavy Armor Low Medium Armor Medium Light Armor Medium Rate of Fire: Fast Range: Far Accuracy -5% Medium - Close Damage Low >> Medium Medium >> High Shotgun Damian secondary weapon; although he prefers his 8mm pistols, these shotguns are extremely useful against heavily armed enemies in close range. Choosing the right weapon and strategy against the different types of enemies is the key to winning the game. Enemy’s Armor Enemies will always have some sort of armor protecting them, so don’t expect them to be killed by a couple of shots. Enemies Armor’s rating: Light Armor / Medium Armor / Heavy Armor Enemy’s Weapon Enemies also come equipped with all kinds of weapons; some of them may even have the same weapon as the players. Learning how to avoid certain weapons will keep players from dying. Machine Gun: These are the guns that will be shooting at player the most. As long as players don’t stay still for too long or get too close the chance of getting hit is very low. However, the player needs to watch out for when too many of them are firing at her at the same time, one hit will slow her down and will make it even easier to get a second hit. Heavy Machine Gun: These extremely deadly stationary machine guns are twice as deadly as normal machine guns, so players must be careful. Fortunately they cannot move, so the players can take cover and throw grenades at them. Shotgun: The enemies carrying shotguns will try to get close to you. Getting shot by a shotgun at close range will be painful. They are also usually heavily armored, so if you’re playing as Damian, make sure you have your Shotgun ready if they get too close. Grenades: These enemies will throw grenades at you from a distance, if you see them try to take them out as soon as possible; having grenades thrown at you is very dangerous. You can also try shooting their grenades in mid-air. If they are too far away, let Kat shoot them with her grenade launcher. RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenades): Slow moving, but extremely dangerous. If one of these are coming at you try to shoot them before they get close to you. The launcher takes a long time to reload, so once you shot down the rocket, quickly take down the enemy launching it. Again, if they are too far away, let Kat shoot them with her grenade launcher. Riot Shield Enemies carrying Riot Shields will try to protect other enemies behind him. The enemies carrying Riot Shields will face a player so the other player can take them out. Players can also take out the Riot Shield with grenades. Enemies carrying Riot Shields wear Heavy Armor. Getting Hit by Enemies Each time an enemy shoots at the player and misses, he becomes more accurate. The longer players let enemies shoot, the higher the chance that they will be hit. However, if an enemy is hit, his accuracy also drops, so one way to avoid getting hit is to hit first. Additionally, players can perform a dodge to avoid getting hit; enemies’ accuracy drastically drops when the player they’re aiming at is dodging. In contrast, if a player stays still, the enemy’s accuracy increases at a dangerous rate. For grenades, they work the same way as player’s grenades, which does area of effect damage. 2.4 Tension Gauge / Special Attacks As players kill more enemies or get hit, her Tension Gauge fills up. When the Tension Gauge is full, player can press the L1 button to trigger Special Attack. Once Special Attacks is triggered, the Tension Gauge will begin to drain. While the Tension Gauge is not completely drained, players will have the ability to shoot with the trigger buttons (L2 and R2) and all shots fired will have 100% accuracy and Very High damage rating. 2.5 Items First Aid Kit Commonly found in first-aid cabinets around the house hold. Restore player health by 50% Ammo Pack Found from enemies dead bodies, they can be used for player’s secondary ammunition. 2.6 Camera Cameras come in 3 modes: stationary, single-track and dual-track. • Stationary – This camera rotates to keeps player on the screen • Single-Track – The camera follows a track to keeps player on the screen. The camera will try to find the position on the track that best capture the player. • Dual-Track – The camera follows a “camera-track” relative to a predefined “player-track”. When player moves, the closest point to the player on the player-track will defines where the camera is on the camera-track. 2.7 Scoring System / Combo Points The point system is designed to add replay-ability; players who enjoy the action may want to play the game several times to best their high-score. Players earn points by killing enemies, the score they received is based on what weapon the enemy is using and what armor the enemy is wearing. Heavy Armor +1000 pts Medium Armor +500 pts Light Armor +200 pts Machine Gun +100 pts Heavy Machine Gun +400 pts Shotgun +300 pts Grenade +300 pts RPG +500 pts Combo A player’s combo counter increases when he or she hit an enemy consecutively. For each consecutive hit, the combo counter increases by 1. Players gain more points as their combo counter increases. 10 Hits pts x 1.5 20 Hits pts x 2.0 50 Hits pts x 3.0 100 Hits pts x 4.0 200 Hits pts x 5.0 Final Battle Players who win the final battle win the game and get 10000 pts added to his/her score. 3.
