Play Information

Deathmatch : No. Single Player : Yes. Map Description : SP Mission Pack for Half-Life

STORY: After proving your skill and cunning by escaping the Black Mesa complex alive, you have been called on by a shadowy organisation - the Alien Counter-Insurgency Bureau - to help protect mankind from the threat posed by Xen.

Tonight, the A.C.I.B. has need of your special abilities to counter a new threat to civilisation. You have been given a rendez-vous in the warehouse district of the city to receive your mission briefing.

REQUIREMENTS : This pack is not optimised for older machines. It runs OK at 1024x768 under OpenGL on a PII 400 with a 16Mb TNT card which is roughly equivalent to the slowest machine you can currently buy.

WALKTHROUGH : A complete walkthrough of this map pack is available at www.cyber-rat.com. Please only use it if you get completely stuck.

CHEATS : It should not be necessary to use cheats to get to where you want to go. If you use tricks such as 'noclip' to get somewhere the chances are that you will disrupt the flow of the level by bypassing triggers or other important things. Once this is done the level may not function correctly at all. Refer to the walkthrough if you need help.

EDITING INFORMATION : If you have specific editing questions regarding these levels feel free to write to me. I may create editing tutorials to describe certain techniques if I get enough requests, although most aspects of HL editing are well covered in existing sites. I particularly recommend the Handy Vandal's Alamanac which lists almost every HL editing tutorial on the web - [http://www.karljones.com/halflife/almanac.asp].

KNOWN BUGS: If you find a major problem please write to me with details.
