File Description

The famous Singleplayer mod Case Closed now comes in Co-operative scenario for SvenCo-op 3.x. Recommended amount of players is 4.

You are Bob Dewey, Black Mesa janitor. You arrive at the research facility for another day at work: cleaning up the mess those smart ass scientists leave behind, refilling the soapboxes in the toilets, listening to Barney's stupid jokes and reading Penthouse Magazine. It's not the most exciting job in the world, but it pays good and you get lot's off free donuts. As usual, those scientists create black holes and open gates to other alien worlds filled with creatures who eat human flesh for lunch. Nothing special, but this time, they really messed it up and those aliens found a way to our planet. And guess what, you are in the middle of all this. While Gorden Freeman kicks alien arse, Corporal Adrian Shephard fights Freeman and Barney Calhoun tries to save some scientists, you just try to save you own butt and get the hell out of Black Mesa. It's a bigger mess you have to clean up this time...

-------Stuff---------------------------------------------------------

STORY: You are Bob Dewey, Black Mesa janitor. You arrive at the research
facility for another day at work: cleaning up the mess those smart ass
scientists leave behind, refilling the soapboxes in the toilets, listening
to Barney's stupid jokes and reading Penthouse Magazine. It's not the most
exciting job in the world, but it pays good and you get lot's off free donuts.
As usual, those scientists create black holes and open gates to other
alien worlds filled with creatures who eat human flesh for lunch. Nothing
special, but this time, they really messed it up and those aliens found a
way to our planet. And guess what, you are in the middle of all this.
While Gorden Freeman kicks alien arse, Corporal Adrian Shephard fights
Freeman and Barney Calhoun tries to save some scientists, you just try
to save you own butt and get the hell out of Black Mesa. It's a bigger
mess you have to clean up this time...

REQUIREMENTS: A PC that runs Half-Life smooth, (something like a p2-300
and a smokin' TNT-card should do)

WALKTHROUGH: There are no difficult puzzles. If there still would be
a lot off people who get stuck, i'll write a walkthrough.

KNOWN BUGS/ISSUES:
*Some Levels crash if you have the High Defition Pack installed (from
Blue Shift) So simple rename the pak1.pak-file in c:\half-life\valve
into something else to disable the HDef-pack. This happens because those
models seem to be missing some animations used in scripted sequences.
*r_speeds are a bit high in some places, but that shouldn't be any problem
since I assume everybody playing Half-Life should at least have a
3D-card that can handle some poly's.

------Construction---------------------------------------------------

Base : From scratch, used some prefabs here and there
Editor(s) used	: WorldCraft 2.1, Zoner's compile thingy's
Compile Machine	: PIII 500, 256 ram
Compile time	: About 3 days (the whole skazaam)

------Install Instructions-------------------------------------------

Unzip caseclosed.zip to c:\half-life\caseclosed\ The directory-structure is kept
in the zip-file, so don't touch it. Start Half-life, select custom games,
activate 'Case Closed' and start a new game.

------Copyright-Permissions------------------------------------------
You MAY distribute this Episode through any electronic network (internet,
FIDO, local BBS etc.), provided you include this file and leave the archive
intact (+don't change anything).

You MAY NOT put this level an a commercial CD without my permission or
distribute it in any commercial way, yadda yadda yadda...
