As any regular visitor of Bungie.net will have noticed, Bungie's been doing lots of interviews lately. This time, the unlucky victim is Narcogen, the operator of one of Bungie's hardest-core fansites, Rampancy.net. It's a pretty popular site, and I'm sure many of our own members here at FileFront have paid a visit there. Now, you'll probably be interested to know that the HQ is actually in Kazakhstan, where the ping never goes below 500. Narcogen had been involved with Bungie's earliest projects, since the days of "Myth" and "Marathon". He was involved in several Bungie-related fansites, including the leading Myth fansite at the time. He then became staff at a site known as The Core, which evolved into what we know now as Rampancy.net. Narcogen had been staff for a while, when Microsoft bought out Bungie. Many of The Core's staffers deserted, feeling that Microsoft would ruin everything, or they just didn't want to spend money on an Xbox, the new platform for Halo. Narcogen took the wheel. Since then, he helped form the site into what it is now. He offers some interesting speculation as to what might happen with Cortana in Halo 3 as well. The full article can be found here.
