Bungie has hired Matt Priestley from the xbox 360 group to work on Halo 2 Vista. He gave a short overview of all the goodies we can expect in Halo 2 PC. First, in 2 days the game will be publicly showed and playable at the Leipzig Games Convention in Germany. Both mice and xbox 360 game pads will be available for use. Bungie should have some fun teaching people how to play in German. Thankfully most Germans know a good bit on English. The 360 game pad will work flawlessly with Halo 2 PC, and switching between mouse and game pad will be a snap. The game looks fantastic. The weapons have been re-done from the original models, making them look worthy to be among the great looking maps. The new lighting system gives bright brights and very dark shadows. The textures remain at what they call a "cinematic LOD" at a far distance. The new polish to the graphics make the maps feel much more gritty. Unless the world explodes, we will be seeing in game video and screenshots of Halo 2 PC(called H2V by bungie) this week. The full story can be read here. Note: Halo 2 PC will now be called Halo 2 Vista.
