Just before the release of the PC version of Halo last September, we paid a visit to Gearbox Software's offices in Plano, Texas, where we were given an advance look at the game's editing tools. During that visit, we also had a chance to talk with Gearbox President Randy Pitchford, who clued us in on some of the things the team would be doing to support the game following its release. Over the last few months, the PC version of Halo has consistently resided among the weekly top 10 selling PC games, but eager mod makers have had to wait patiently for the tools. That wait will come to an end shortly with the release of Halo Custom Edition (aka HaloCE) -- a Gearbox-created add-on that includes a little of everything: editing tools, tutorials, technical updates, and more.
