This is a mod for Halo trial and comes from the same author that brought you Clipgulch. It is a mod that alters a number of things including: a skybase with its own warthog jump, a rain of medpacks, changes a lot of the weapon firing types and the Warthogs also have driver-controlled turrets. This is a fun novelty mod that has plenty interesting features. A warning from me, the banshee bomb can cause the game to lag a little on lower end PCs, but otherwise I have found it to be a stable mod. With a mod like this, it's not really relevant to talk about balance, but I think spawning with a plasma pistol (or the tank pistol in this mod) seems a little overpowered. It's pretty much the strongest weapon in the set, so with 16 players all essentially having scorpian cannons it can probably get pretty insane. Other than that, the speed increase on the warthogs should make the get-away easier for you CTFers out there. One of the features I really liked was the warthog jump on the skybase because it's fun to try out and you can get some pretty good stunts from it.

Prototype_z's Halo Trial Mod Bloodpac _beta_ this modification took significantly longer than my last one because now i had to learn how to use sparkedit. hopefully the extra time will have been well spent. _Changes___ =a big wooden base in the sky =the sniper rifle shoots lots of needles =the assult rifle shoots homing plasma =the plasma rifle shoots very fast =shotgun shoots shoots fast and more but is relatively unchanged =pistol is on ultra full automatic =fuel rod gun is on steroids aka so many shots its like a rainstorm [i will probably scale it down in the final version] =a lone teleporter to the sky base [it is near the bush at the blue base on the right side] =a torrent of falling medpacs from the sky =warthogs go much MUCH faster and have been modded to not fall over as much =warthogs can also fire from the driver's seat [the game is mostly geared tworads the individual, the lone killer] =banshee goes fast but is hard to control, also has modded weapons =the usual flamethrower is supercharged [less overheating] =grenades,powerups,and some weapons respawn fast =a few weapons have been scaled back for fairness =plasma pistol is now a tank pistol =at least 3 places you can teleport to from the sky base =can hold more frag grenades i might have missed a few things because i have been modding this off and on for a month, but you get the idea... _instalation__ backup your orignal bloodgulch file then copy this bloodgulch.map into your halo trial maps folder -[defualt path is c:\programfiles\microsoftgames\halotrial\maps]- you know, the usual _credits__ i used spark edit, hmt 3.5 [and the plugins] hht ppf o matic i got my inspiration from all the random teleporer mods i've played ect. ect.
