ifafudaf brings us yet another good mod. When an author includes sucha detailed description of their own, its only fitting for it to get used.
First off, no screenshots are included 'cause there are no graphical changes made. Sorry. You know what I really hate? When people run for the powerful weapons before anything, and manage to win off of it, while relatively weaker weapons are completely ignored. So I went to see if I could fix that. In this modified version of Blood Gulch, there are several changes made to what weapons do. 1. The Fuel Rod Launcher. This is the most modified weapon. -It's been changed to somewhat of an EMP weapon. Shields will drain immediately, but it'll hardly do any damage to health. -Overheating now occurs after roughly 3 consecutive shots. -Splash damage is now less than direct hit damage. -Firing is a bit less accurate. 2. The Plasma Pistol. -Charging now takes a bit longer. -A charged shot drains about half your shields, but stuns you for about two seconds. -Heat gain for non-charged shots has been lessened. 3. The Plasma Rifle. -Shields will drain even faster. -Cooldown after overheating takes a little less time. 4. The Sniper Rifle. -Rate of fire has been lessened to about a shot a second. 5. The Rocket Launcher. -Rockets travel a tad slower. -Grenade throwing has been disabled while using. You've got a nice explosive thing already. -Splash damage is now less than direct hit damage. 6. General changes. -Melee damaged scaled based on the weapon you're using. Whacking someone with a big honkin' Fuel Rod Launcher will hurt a bit more than hitting 'em with a pistol. -All plasma damage will hurt shields more but health less. -Likewise, all bullet damage will hurt shields less but health more. -Melee damage will not affect shields as much. Now, I've only been able to test this on myself, so there are bound to be a few things that don't work quite right. Feel free to report errors and wrongs you find to me as soon as you can. Suggestions are also welcome, except for suggestions to put this in other maps. I'm already working on that.

Back up your "bloodgulch.map" file inside your Halo\MAPS directory (Default: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\MAPS). Stick the new "bloodgulch.map" file inside your Halo\MAPS directory. Done! To uninstall, simply replace the new file with your old backed up one. 3. CONTACT INFO!
