This weekend at PAX South 2019, lucky visitors were able to see not only the new trailer for the game Ion Maiden, but also play a new level that is basically a shortened version of an existing mission from the full game, unlike the preview campaign from last year that was unique.
This new level features the crossbow (which was also custom-made as a prop for the stand at PAX South) that was previously only used by the red cyborg enemies and could not be picked up, and that new level has now been released for all players who bought or are about to buy the early access build of the game on Steam - just update the game and you're good to go! However, players who bought it from GOG.com and/or 3D Realms' own store will have to wait just a bit longer until some further details are fixed (and the patch is approved by GOG staff).
Until then, gaze upon the new trailer from the event, which you can also download right here on GameFront in full 4K:
Ion Maiden is scheduled to release in Q2 2019, and will be available for Windows, Linux, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
