Being older, that is. I was 12 in 1977 so I got to see the O.T. in the movie theaters. You have my pity if you've never seen them on the big screen baby! :mepimp::thumbsup:

Honestly, I'm relieved at the results so far. I thought there'd be more members who haven't seen the OT.

Let's get something straight. 416 people can't all know more about the original trilogy than everyone else.

Episode 4, 5 and 6 are good, but the computer animation in the 'new' trilogy is much better, especially yoda is improved. He sucks in episode 5 and 6... :( And the saber fights are much better in 1, 2 and 3... Still waiting for episode 7! :D

I've seen the original trilogy movies so often that I've lost count. Though the prequels are still generally good movies (when Anakin and Padme aren't butchering romance scenes, that is), they cannot match the magic of the classics. Of course when I watch the OT, I always watch the non-special edition version. While I liked some of the special effects updates, George Lucas changed some scenes WAY too much. The DVD release was even worse, with wonky lightsaber colors and clunky prequel cameo appearences. Fortunately I was able to nab the original version on DVD, so I can still watch Han shoot first and listen to the original Ewok celebration theme. Guess I'm a purist, huh?
