This map supports all game types in JK2, even the hidden game type Saga :) The map is huge! A small town/city at the bottom in the Tatooine style with a tall building in the centre. Some very nice architecture, I like the many elevators and ways of getting around the map. Two things I thought could have used some improvement was the lighting (which 'white washed' alot of the buildings) and also the tiling effect on the main big walls. Due to the size of the map, I doubt it will run well on everyone's computer so some of you might get some pretty bad FPS with slow machines.
On to the Saga mode :) The pk3 file itself contains the Saga mod so it's advisable to make sure this file is not put in your 'base' directory but in the GameData/Saga folder. IMPORTANT: I couldn't run the map unless I removed ALL the files from my base folder EXCEPT the assets#.pk3 files. So if you get an error like this: Client/Server game mismatch: team assault 0.1b/basejk-1
Then you HAVE to remove all custom pk3's out of your base directory! i.e. a 'fresh' JK2 ;) The Saga mode is like an objective based game. The two teams, red and blue, have certain objectives to be completed. The objectives are listed to you when you spawn (note: this is the ONLY time the objectives will be displayed so pay attention to them!) Each team has it's own objectives, and they must be carried out while preventing the other team from preventing their objectives... fun :) Note: This Saga mode is not officialy supported so it's not guaranteed to run EXACTLY the way it should have.. so you have to piece some things together yourself.

1st NOVEMBER 2002 Thankyou for downloading the ANCHORHEAD / TOSCHI STATION custom map for JK2. This map contains support for FFA, Team FFA, Holocron FFA, CTF, CTY, JEDI MASTER, and the hidden game mode SAGA (Which is an objective based gameplay mode for two teams). BOT support is included. IF YOU EXPERIENCE TROUBLE LOADING THE MAP OR NOT ENOUGH MEMORY MESSAGES OCCUR: You will need to alter the amount of RAM allocated to JK2 (The default is 64MB). To do this edit the JK2mp.config file inside the GAMEDATA/SAGA folder, open it and change the 'comhunkmegs' value to 128 YOU WILL NEED A FAST MACHINE TO GET A DECENT FRAME RATE! I CAN NOT EMPHASISE THIS ENOUGH!!!!! (I have 1.3 P4 with GeForce 2 and find the map playable with 6 bots). KNOWN BUGS: Owing to the limited vertex editing tools in JK2 RADIANT there are seams EVERYWHERE! (I tried to fix this by using GTK RADIANT but while it fixed the seams it caused an unrecoverable error when running the map!) I changed the direction of one of the doors and forgot to texture the underside of it! There are a few Z-fighting issues & some lights leaking through the edges of walls! Bots do not navigate the level properly - especially lifts. (Theres nearly 2000 waypoints!!!) PLOT: Bobba Fett has arrived at Anchorhead on Tatooine to deliver the frozen Han SOlo to Jabba The Hutt. A QUICK NOTE ON LIFTS: All lifts start at the bottom of the shafts and need to be summoned to higher levels To activate the lifts, you will need to press the use key while standing in the vacinity of the lift shaft. There is a pause before you can trigger the lifts again. Most lifts will wait for a few seconds before decending again! CTF & CTY: The BLUE Flag is located inside the OUTRIDER spaceship. The RED Flag is located inside the TOSCHI station control room. HOLOCRON: Every type of Holocron is included once with the exception of Force Jump (There are 3 of these) JEDIMASTER: The Sabre starts at the top of the highest tower on the platform that extends out to the Skyhopper. SAGA: A brief message will appear whenever you or a team-mate spawn, listing all the objectives. Complete your teams objectives while preventing the opposing team from completing theirs. BLUE team objectives- 1. Retrieve the Hyperdrive parts from the workshop (In the workshop approach the BLUE hyperdrive panel near the back wall and press the 'use' key.) 2. Collect the Ysalimiri (Behind Slave 1 find the Ysalimiri in the BLUE cage - press the 'use' key to open the cage.) 3. Get the flight codes from the Skyhopper. (Simply get inside the skyhopper and approach the BLUE panel) 4.Deactivate the tractor beam (Inside the Toschi Station control room, approach the BLUE imperial control panel and press the 'use' key.) RED team objectives. 1. Activate the tractor beam (In the room at the very top of the tallest tower appraoch the RED panel and press the 'use' key.) 2.Collect the Ysalimiri (Behind Slave 1 find the Ysalimiri in the RED cage - press the 'use' key to open the cage.) 3. Sieze the Contraband (Inside the cantina, approach the table in the far corner with the box on it and press the 'use' key.) 4. Deactive the hyperdrive on the OUTRIDER. (Inside the OUTRIDER, approach the RED hyperdrive in the main room and press the 'use' key.) Every time an objective is completed a short piece of music will play appropriate to each team.
