A map with a rather large filesize, when compared to the actual size of the duel map. The background music is the main menu theme from 'Halo,' for anybody who knows what that sounds like. I wouldn't have thought that it would be a suitable piece for a duel map, but I was surprised by the amount of atmosphere it added to this small, but effective map :) So, in the map, there's one room, with a high enough ceiling for good fighting, and little stairways in all 4 corners of the room. In the center, there are four torches, which burn you (so don't step on them ;) ) and then the 'major' feature of the map. Put simply, it's a large globe on top of a spike. It looks very cool, even though it's not very advanced in terms of construction, and adds enough detail to the map for me to enjoy it. Sure, its a bit small, and some may not like it, but for a first attempt the author has done a very good job. :) Ever considered JKA Mapping?

Jan. 4, 2004 ================================================================ Map Name: The Sphere Arena Author: Kath (EL) Email: [email protected] Web: www.elvenlords.cjb.net Description: Please note, before you go trying to tear my map to pieces in reviews, this is only my first publicly released map. I wanted to make just a simple duel map. So I did. The centerpiece is an ancient globe of some unknown rock balanced precariously on top of a cone. It is surrounded by 4 torches. Beware of the fire! It can suck your life away in less than 10 seconds. Thanks to: Whoever it was who made JK2Radiant so easy that a moron could even understand it. ================================================================ >Play Information< Bot Support: nope New Sounds: well, new music, i suppose that counts.
