Imperial Scout Trooper w/ pistol

Okay, Slurpy_commando has brought us something new and different that is ALMOST ready for full release.

Slurpy started with a regular Star Wars model available online, adapted it to JK2, and has released it as a non-textured beta. Detail is moderately decent; a few clever textures will do the trick.

I think this is an EXCELLENT attempt at making a model work using this method. The proportions are ever-so-slightly off, but I think overall it would make for a great player character as soon as some textures are created.

The pistol needs just a bit of work as well, as it currently is only visible in third-person mode.

Any texture gurus out there, get with Slurpy, give us a final release!

Description: It's a scout trooper model with bots, team colors, and pistol. None of the models have lods or first person. It uses the storm trooper sounds and has a slight potty mouth.

Comments: Well, its almost done. I didn't make the model from scratch though. I downloaded it from a website that makes star wars models for 3d pictures and animations. Then I learned that the original model did not fit around the root.xsi skeloton, so i took the kyle model, took off the head, shoudler pad, collor, slightly modifyed the scouts armor to fit on the kyle model, did some more crap after that,a little more crap and presto! instant scout. Since I didn't acually make the model, here's the web site i got it from http://www.gerf.org/~nixon/ -it's pretty cool, I recommend it. And if anyone out there who has experience skinning, please e-mail me, maybe we can collaborate. The textures I have REALLY REALLY SUCK.
