Ender 920 brings us four skin packs entitled Lord of The Rings Skinpack based on KOTORMRJay’s original skins. The update includes updated sounds and the ability to have a cape or not. The author was inspired by the release of Helm's deep map to revive this skin pack and fix what was bugging him.
To be very honest I feel there is no need to download these packs. Not much has changed from the originals, just download or use the original packs by KOTORMRJay. The sounds couldn’t have been that bad considering that after this update the author left two of the skins with default sounds.
I would’ve made the caped versions work with team support but that’s just me, it would’ve made the file sizes a little smaller. Sorry I combined all the reviews into one wasn’t too much to say about this, and figured this would be more suited for this project. Keep on modding. Below is a list of which skins are each skin pack.
Skin pack a- Strider and Boromir Skin pack b- Elrond, Legolas and Gilgalad Skin pack c- Lurtz, Nazgul and Urukhai Skin pack d- Eomir and Faramir
Bot Support: Yes Team Colors: Yes New Sounds: Yes (Some and retouched ones)
*************************** JEDI KNIGHT II MODIFICATION *************************** Title : Lord of The Rings Skinpack+ part-b Author : Ender_920 E-Mail : Ender_920@21box.com Website : none File Name : lotr-plus b.zip File Size : 5.4 megabytes Date Released : May 7th, 2003, 3:00 P.M. Description : I've had the original Lord of the Rings skins since they first came out, but never used them because the sounds were of low quality and the characters I wanted to be had capes, which i didn't like, so recently with the release of helm's deep i was thinking how much i want to use a good lord of the rings skins so i decided to edit them to my liking. i only altered it so that you could choose to wear a cape or not and altered the sounds to sound better. Comments : these will replace the originals just to let you know. credits : all the credit goes to the original work (the skinning, modelling, texturing, and some of the sounds) that KOTORMRJay did on the original skinpack, if it weren't for his work i couldn't have done this, though, i was going to email him for permission but i could not locate his email address so i had to just release it installation : THIS MODIFICATION IS NOT MADE, DISTRIBUTED, OR SUPPORTED BY ACTIVISION, RAVEN, OR LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY LLC.
