File Description

I'm not sure if it's my new computer or what, but the lighting in this map looks a nice! Some places are nicely highlighted (yet not glared out). The room in the centre has a little death trap in the centre so no matter how mesmerized you get by the flashing lights, stay away from it ;). The weapon placement on this map isn't that bad either, you can find weapons scattered all over yet nothing too powerful bunched up together.

Updates to the map:

As far as I know, I've eliminated all overlapping brushes (translation: level looks prettier). In addition, I've caulked all non-visible surfaces (translation: level runs faster), raised the height of a horizontal tube for no particular reason, placed an instant medpack in a corner that was originally supposed to have one, created a breakable glass window where there was formerly just an open hole, and gave all the spawnpoints a direction (translation: you won't spawn facing a wall). Other than that, not really anything noteworthy.

Concept:                 This is large, open team free-for-all level with pipes/tubes to jump and run around as well as a smaller inner chamber with a flickering light that is great for saber dueling--just watch out for the hole...

Installation:		 Simply extract all of the zipped files to your GameData/Base directory, then go into JKII Multiplayer and into "Create Server" and on the list of maps, you should find my map!

Uninstallation:		 Delete "tffa_shadow.pk3" from your GameData/Base folder.


Info:                	 This is an updated version of my first step into the crazy world of JK Radiant, so the map is still fairly simple. I had to figure out that I needed the programs Pakscape and Arena Master to finally make a level that is usable on other computers; this is why it took me 12-15 hours over a span of two months to complete!
