In the second installment of The Jedi's Demise, I found that my prediction was correct. I won't go into details because I don't want to ruin it for anyone. But I will say that it's unfortunate that the story didn't depart from the movie I continue to compare this to. It seems to follow every pattern except for some minor plot details here and there. The relationship between Ana- er, Eric and Pad- I mean, Lara grows and as you would expect, the romance blossoms in the Lake country. It's frustrating because we know nothing of Lara and Eric's past or history. And whatever Eric was saying to Lara in one particular scene is completely drowned out by the chirping of the birds and the rushing of the water.
There are a few surprising things that you'll see in part two. Some very un-Star Wars characters will show up and somehow, they seem to fit in the world. I swear I saw President Skroob make a brief appearance before the storyline becomes familiar again. Of course, Eric's Master is in trouble and wants to go help. And as if on cue, Lara offers to go with him. Another parallel between Anakin and Eric is the anger that is shown after a brief fight with a bounty hunter. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the conclusion of this movie, but I won't get my hopes up.
