*sighs* This is one of Lady Forge's, or rather a cohort of her's, antics. The kind that makes me want to slap my forehead in disgust and embarrassment, really.
The idea started out solid, as a bottle of Samuel Adams as a weapon. There is also a broken variant, so it could make for some interesting bar fight scenes in an RP. Then it went downhill, as far as I'm concerned. How? ADD A STICK INTO THE EQUATION -_O+.
Naturally, there's a broken variant, so you can gore people with a bottle on a stick. *sighs* Texturing and the model are both up to Lady Forge's typical par, so quite honestly, I needn't say more...other than SUBMIT BANDWIDTH AT YOUR OWN RISK. Apologies if I don't find it funny, as it seems like one of those inside jokes that only an elect few can truly laugh at. That, and I just don't find the idea amusing. Blast, I guess I did need to say more...oh well.

*********************************** Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy *********************************** TITLE: Beer on a Stick AUTHOR: Inyri Forge E-MAIL: firstname.lastname@example.org FILENAME: stick_bottle_if.pk3 DATE RELEASED: 27 September 2007 -------- CREDITS -------- Oh boy, this is a fun one. Firstly I'd like to credit Ghost, who is apparently the only person on the planet who thinks that a beer bottle on a stick is a reliable weapon. Despite its obvious inefficiencies, I thought it sounded *hilarious* so I made it :p. Also thanks to Kessno for beta testing this and ensuring me that it's functioning properly. If you find any bugs, blame him! Oh yes, let's not forget to thank beerlabels.com for the wonderful beer label. Little did I know when I started that such a site existed... -------------------------- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -------------------------- Dump this is your gamedata/base directory within your Jedi Academy directory. ------------ DESCRIPTION ------------ Firstly I'd like to say I'm not an alcoholic. That said, everyone's favorite drink is beer -- either because they drink it, or they're underaged and think it's the epitome of alcoholic beverages. To those people -- I do not advocate underaged drinking and you should avoid doing so! To those of you who actually *like* beer and are able to drink it legally, the bottle featured here is the Samuel Adams Octoberfest... because I like it. :p See the bottom of the read-me if you dislike that brand. This pack contains four weapons -- two beer bottle weapons and two beer-on-a-stick weapons. Each has a regular bottle version and a broken bottle version. Let the barfights ensue! ----- BUGS ----- I think I actually fixed them all for once! That shader was nasty... the bottle *is* partially transparent though, like it should be. :D --------- COMMENTS --------- I need to do a goofy mod every now and then. Keeps me sane. Hopefully you guys feel the same way. :p For those of you who don't like Sam Adams, I'm including a PSD file that just has the labels as a separate layer. You can open the file in photoshop, or if you're not a millionaire you should also be able to open the PSD in GIMP (which is free graphics software), and you change the label. If you're looking for a specific label, try beerlabels.com :p. ------------------- DISTRIBUTION NOTES ------------------- You may use this modification in mods as long as this read-me is included in your archive, unaltered, and appropriate credit is given.
